Resolute Tissue’s Sanford Mill Employees Achieve 750,000-Hour Safety Milestone and Donate $10,000 to Local Organizations

Employees of Resolute Tissue’s Sanford, FL, mill proudly presented contributions to three local organizations in celebration of the facility’s recent safety achievement at a ceremony on November 11, 2020. On September 21, 2020, employees at the facility recorded a milestone of 750,000 safe hours without a recordable injury. Through Resolute’s Board of Directors Safety Award program, and in recognition of this achievement, the Sanford mill earned $10,000 to distribute to non-profit organizations in the community.  Three local organizations, chosen as recipients of this award by employees of the mill, including SafeHouse of Seminole County, New Hope for Kids and Friends of Abused Children.
